What is the sample quantity and MOQ for custom springs?

Custom springs do not have one universal minimum order quantity. The practical quantity depends on the spring dimensions, material, process complexity, setup loss, production efficiency and total material weight.

Engineering samples

For many projects, one to five engineering samples can be considered. Samples require drawing review, process preparation, machine setup and inspection, so their unit price is normally different from a batch-production price. A sample is intended to check fit and agreed performance; it does not automatically establish production approval.

Production quantities

Once the design and test requirements are understood, the appropriate production quantity and price breaks can be quoted. Very small products and larger or more complex springs may have different practical batch sizes. Any indicative quantity should be confirmed for the specific design rather than treated as a fixed company-wide MOQ.

Information that helps us assess quantity

Send the latest drawing or sample details, material, expected annual demand, order frequency and any packaging or testing requirements. If demand is uncertain, share a forecast range. This allows the team to review setup efficiency and distinguish sample, pilot and recurring production needs.

Final MOQ, price and schedule are confirmed in the project quotation after technical and commercial requirements are reviewed.
