Recoil starter assembly or custom starter spring?

“Recoil starter” can refer to the complete pull-start assembly or to the return spring inside that assembly. Clarifying which item is needed helps prevent a mismatch in quotation and expectations.

Complete recoil starter assemblies

A complete starter is a multi-component product used to start a small engine by pulling a rope. Zongda can supply complete starter assemblies through qualified supplier resources. The assembly should not be described as an in-house manufactured spring product.

Custom starter springs

The internal recoil spring can be developed and manufactured to a customer drawing, sample or technical requirement when the expected quantity and project economics are suitable. Zongda does not publish a fixed public model catalog for these internal springs, and development is assessed case by case.

Information for the first review

For a complete assembly, share the engine interface, dimensions, target models, quantity and applicable requirements. For an internal spring, provide its drawing or sample, material, dimensions, winding and end features, operating turns, target life and annual volume. State clearly whether the inquiry is for a complete starter or only its spring component.
